Metra Entertainment is an independent production company founded in 2004 by Producer / Director / Writer / Actress and breast cancer survivor, Elysia Skye. We specialize in film, web content (episodics and comedy shorts), commercials, music videos, and special events.  All Metra Entertainment Productions share a message of love and laughter. We have an in house production team and also work side by side with other companies such as Past Tense Films, Tornante, Young Brother Prod., A&M Films and many others.

ELYSIA SKYE - PRODUCER
Elysia Skye photo Elysia Skye moved to Los Angeles, California from Fort Lauderdale, Florida in fall of 2000.  Before her journey west, she spent her youth doing theatre and studying acting, singing and dancing at The University Center for the Performing Arts.  She was an active member of her school's thespian club, mainstage theatre and annual variety shows.  After her journey west, she found representation, joined Dennis LaValle's Actors Workshop and obtained her SAG and AFTRA cards through small roles in film and television.  In 2002-2004, Elysia studied sketch comedy and improv with The Groundlings and Second City and began martial arts training under Master Byong Yu.

In September 2005, Elysia was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer and has since written a feature length film and an autobiography to share her story.  She got her Directing debut with her third short  LOSE WEIGHT WITH CANCER, a mock infomercial selling cancer as a weight loss product, and premiered it at Creative Artist Agency through the generosity of Tom Hanks and Richard Lovett.  Elysia is currently represented by Molly Sweet at Pantheon Talent  Agency.  For Production work or for more information about Elysia's films or cancer story, please email contact@metraentertainment.com.  Elysia Skye reminds you to "Die From Laughter, Not From Cancer!"

PETER ATENCIO - PRODUCER
Peter Atencio photoPeter Atencio discovered his passion for making movies at age 13 and hasn't stopped since. After attending the Denver School of the Arts and the University of Colorado, he relocated to Los Angeles, where he served as a director of photography on numerous short films and cable television programs, as well as an editor on television series for both Warner Bros. Television and PBS. In 2003 he directed the short film Channeling Alphonse, which went on to win several awards at film festivals across the country. The next year he co-wrote and directed the independent comedy feature film Night of the Dog, which won the audience award at the Palm Beach International Film Festival and the Gold Circle Vision Award at the Santa Barbara Film Festival, as well as several awards at other film festivals.

He's worked on projects with Kanye West, Tommy Hilfiger, Bob Odenkirk, Matt Besser, and is sought for both his directorial and writing abilities as well as his skills as a DP and still photographer. Peter is currently editing his debut feature film, The Platform, a sci-fi thriller set on an oil rig in the gulf of Mexico. The film stars William Forsythe, Sarah Laine, and Marcus Paulk.
