Metra Entertainment is an independent production company founded in 2004 by Producer / Director / Writer / Actress and breast cancer survivor, Elysia Skye. We specialize in film, web content (episodics and comedy shorts), commercials, music videos, and special events. All Metra Entertainment Productions share a message of love and laughter. We have an in house production team and also work side by side with other companies such as Past Tense Films, Tornante, Young Brother Prod., A&M Films and many others.
ELYSIA SKYE - CEO
Elysia Skye moved to Los Angeles, California from Fort Lauderdale in the fall of 2000, and founded Metra Entertainment in 2004. Originating with short films, Elysia quickly moved on to Produce, Write and Direct for TV and web. With luck and persistence, her team signed one of the first web series deals with SuperDeluxe.com in 2007. They collaborated with El Chopper Quatro (founded by Inman Young) on the hit webseries, Back On Topps, which Elysia Co-produced. She has also worked with networks such as The Discovery, History and Sundance channel to facilitate extraordinary content. Elysia also acts as a Consulting and Associate Producer for multiple web series and features. Additionally, Elysia Skye formed a non-profit corporation called LaughAboutCancer.org, to raise awareness towards cancer in women under 40. As President, FOX FAMILY TELEVISION STUDIOS WORLDWIDE, from 1998-2001, Lance was
the executive producer/producer responsible for the development and production of more than 150 motion pictures,
television movies, scripted and reality series for FOX FAMILY CHANNEL, and, among others, TNT, LIFETIME, PAX,
ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX KIDS Prior to the purchase of FOX FAMILY by ABC/DISNEY,
he served for twelve (12) years as President of SABAN ENTERTAINMENT, which produced, among other hits,
the #1 kids sensation,“Mighty Morphin Power Rangers”..
In addition to joining Metra Entertainment as their Chief Operating Office, Robbins is also a co-founder and managing partner
of the Green TV World Network, (www.gtvwn.com) , a company that distributes
eco-friendly, entertaining and educational children’s programming to more than 50,000,000 households in the USA.
Lance is also the managing partner in CENTENNIAL PICTURES, a worldwide distributor of theatrical films
and television movies that are sold to broadcast and cable, dvd/home video, as well as to all digital platforms,

INMAN YOUNG - Producer
Inman Young moved to Los Angeles in 1999 to pursue a career producing movies. In the spring of 2001 Young successfully produced his first feature, “Thank You, Good Night.” In the years to follow he produced many film, television, and DVD projects including “Comedians of Comedy” the movie, “Joe Rogan Live at the Improv,” “Zach Galifianakis Live at the Purple Onion,” “The Comedians of Comedy,” the Comedy Central TV series, the independent feature “Suffering Man’s Charity,” directed by and starring Alan Cumming, and the comedy DVD “Comedians of Comedy-Live at the Troubadour.” In 2007 Young produced the HD feature “Bohica,” and the documentary feature “Super High Me,” starring comedian Doug Benson. In the winter of 2008 he produced “Speed Freaks,” a pilot for Comedy Central staring Zach Galifianakis and A.D. Miles. In the spring of 2008 Inman started Young Brother Productions and produced two web series, “Talkathon” for Microsoft and “Back On Topps” for Michael Eisner’s Tornante and Topps baseball cards, starring Randy and Jason Sklar. Young is currently working for 51 Minds/Cris Abrego Productions as the line producer for the development department producing pilots.

ROBYN T. MIGEL - Editor/Producer
Two time Emmy nominee, Robyn T. Migel, is fully versed in all editing software and media and has done everything from talk shows to feature films, with a focus on reality and documentaries. Robyn is currently editing her 5th season of The Dr. Phil Show and Producing a NASCAR series.
MICHAEL LAWSON - Director/Producer
Shortly before graduating from high school, Michael won a National Scholastic Award in Dramatic Writing, an award once won by a young Robert Redford, Truman Capote and Andy Warhol. When he moved to Los Angeles, he worked for Tom Hanks in script development at The Play-Tone Company and began producing and directing short films, feature films and webisodes.
In 2008, Michael directed and produced Barackula The Musical, a hit online film featured on MTV, VH-1, Wired, CNN, Premiere, among many others. He also co-produced The Loneliest Corn Muffin for 60Frames and Movin' In, a 1.5 million dollar feature starring Christy Carlson Romano (Even Stevens). He's worked as a Casting Director for Katalyst Films' You've Got Sarah web series. This year Michael has directed two more shorts, Amongst Friends and Hysterical and Useless as well as a new web series, The Gavin Show.
MARK MANNSCHRECK - DP/Editor
For the past several years, Mark has directed, filmed and edited commercials, feature films, numerous TV spots, music videos, and corporate work. A short list of clients include Fender, LegoLand, Leg Avenue, Sony, Motorola, Nyko, SpikeTV, Devry, CitiCorp, Four Seasons, Jamaica Tourism Board, Trinidad and Tobago Tourism Board, Children's Miracle Network, Red Cross, WorldVision, Universal Studios, UFC, and The Los Angeles Times - as well as music videos for bands such as Buck O' Nine, Korn, The Foo Fighters, Ringo Starr, and The Business.
Mark brings a deep understanding of emerging technologies and new media to the table. He began his career in Television and Film as a film Camera Assistant, Camera Operator, and finally as a DP for film and video productions. Mark graduated from the University of Arizona (BFA Film/Television) on a full Regent's Scholarship in 1992. He was born in Nebraska and raised in Chicagoland. He also enjoys playing Drums in his LA based band "Plastic Slap" which has headlined such Hollywood Music Venues as the House of Blues and the Whisky A Go-Go. He has directed and/or filmed John Legend, Marissa Miller, Tom Skerritt, Leanne Rimes, Doug Hutchison, Robert Goulet, Governor Pete Wilson, Stephanie Sun, John Schneider, Warren Moon, Brian Austin Green and even Pat Boone. His DP film credits include the hit online film Barackula The Musical and Amongst Friends.
PETER ATENCIO - Director/DP
Peter Atencio discovered his passion for making movies at age 13 and hasn't stopped since. After attending the Denver School of the Arts and the University of Colorado, he relocated to Los Angeles, where he served as a director of photography on numerous short films and cable television programs, as well as an editor on television series for both Warner Bros. Television and PBS. In 2003 he directed the short film Channeling Alphonse, which went on to win several awards at film festivals across the country. The next year he (alongside the Nelms Bros, Jeremy Catalino and Peter Donovan - THE SIX) co-wrote and directed the independent comedy feature film Night of the Dog, which won the audience award at the Palm Beach International Film Festival and the Gold Circle Vision Award at the Santa Barbara Film Festival, as well as several awards at other film festivals.
He's worked on projects with Kanye West, Tommy Hilfiger, Bob Odenkirk, Matt Besser, and is sought for both his directorial and writing abilities as well as his skills as a DP and still photographer. Peter is currently editing his debut feature film, The Platform, a sci-fi thriller set on an oil rig in the gulf of Mexico. The film stars William Forsythe, Sarah Laine, and Marcus Paulk.

Ian and Esholm Nelms formed their company FOLLEY FILMS shortly after college. They won the Santa Barbara Film Festival “Audience Award” for their feature film “Night of the Dog”, and have since Produced, Directed and Edited various shorts, websisodes and features. DAVID PHILLIPS - Writer
David Phillips originates from San Jose. His father was part of the original Homebrew Computer Club. If there is life without a computer, he doesn't know it. When he was 10, he won a school competition after he received over 3000 postcards from the city of Reading, PA. He graduated from Santa Clara University in 2001 with a degree in Theatre & Dance. During that time, David studied playwriting under the tutelage of Erik Ehn, currently the Head of Writing at CalArts. David moved to Los Angeles in July of 2001. He is the founder of "Death by Play", a site where people commission plays that always end badly for someone. Also in that time, he was chosen as a playwright for the 2004 and 2005 Actoberfest in North Hollywood. He is currently working at Warner Bros. as a Production Assistant in Television Estimating, where he has two screenplays and a pilot currently being shopped.
GRAE DRAKE - Editor
Grae Drake has been editing since back in the days when she had no choice but to hook up an 8mm camera to her VCR. Since then, she has journeyed through the worlds of various formats where she finally ended up at both the Avid and Final Cut non-linear systems. During her time as an editor, she has worked on numerous projects, including documentaries, short films, music videos, commercials, and feature films. Most recently her work as an editor took her to ABC's Extreme Makeover Home Edition, where her time spent cutting helped over 50 families get new homes.
She also produces, edits, and co-hosts her movie review podcast that is being heard by more and more people around the world called the Popcorn Mafia.
RON FALLICA - Writer/Editor/Producer
Ron Fallica is a pure-bread Italian New Yorker, from Long Island, no less. Originally an actor, he is an experienced producer, editor, writer and co-creator of HossBoss Productions. Seduced by the excitement of being on the other side of the camera, Ron quickly joined up with some friends in New York to form HossBoss Productions (“Huh” and “50,000,000”). Ron has recently teamed up with Nicedream Productions (Barackula) to produce the short version of his feature length "Amongst Friends". The film is currently in post-production.
SHOOTIEHG - DP/Director/Sound Engineer/Composer
Shootie is currently managing his editing studio called Massattack Studios. Over the past year they have pumped out dozens of promo DVDs, websites and videos for local (Los Angeles) and national bands and clients. Massattack shoots live concerts, promo/music videos and edit to almost any format. They are most known for video; photography, website design, audio recording, producing and songwriting. DANIEL ISSUZI - Grip/PA
Daniel graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara and Ventura, California. He splits his time between Los Angeles and Chicago working on various film and photography productions. Recently he worked on Errol Morris’ “Standard Operating”, “Procedure”, “Back on Topps” a webseries starring and created by Randy and Jason Sklar, and Co-Directed a promotional video for Caterpillar. He is currently finishing post-production on “Annabel”, a short film he wrote and directed.
KATIE O'SHAUGHNESSY - Associate Producer/1st AD
Katie’s production work began in 2003 at E! Entertainment and soon followed with the independent features "The Parallel" and "Dr. Fugazzi" starring Faye Dunaway. Katie was fortunate enough to produce the short film, "Solus" which screened at numerous festivals throughout the country. In 2007, Katie worked with RJ Cutler’s production company, Actual Reality Pictures, to help produce the documentary series "Flip That House" for TLC as well as develop and produce "Greenovate", which launched Discovery Channel’s new channel Planet Green. More recently Katie had the pleasure of supervising production for the webseries "Back on Topps".
SARAH BARTON - Marketing/Producer/Writer
Sarah Barton, hails from Palm Springs, California. After graduating from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Political Economy of Industrial Societies, she moved to Los Angeles to attend a 2 year theater conservatory. She is currently producing the short THE D-MONSTER as part of AFI's Director's Workshop for Women. In addition to her career in entertainment, Sarah is also the Sales and Marketing Director for DizzyStop, LLC, an herbal supplement company that manufactures an all-natural and non-drowsy herbal supplement for motion sickness, nausea, vertigo and dizziness.
HUGO SAENZ - Producer/Line Producer
Hugo has been in Production for over 7 years. His job history ranges from Line Producing, Production Manager, Location Manger, and Segment Producing. He also has a strong background in finance, logistical planning, and management. The majority of his experience has been on reality shows, award shows, stunts and a few studio shows. Currently he is Producing the STYLE network show, Dress My Nest.
MELISSA RAFFORD - Writer/Producer
Hailing from Yarmouth, Maine, Melissa Rafford has produced more than twenty hours of documentary television. Her credits include the renown biography series E! True Hollywood Story, History Channel’s Modern Marvels, and Discovery Channel’s new series How Stuff Works. Melissa graduated in 2002 from Emerson College with a B.A. in Visual and Media Arts.
LILIAN LEMER - Writer/Producer
Lilian has written a series of Scene books for children and teen actors. She has worked on numerous short films and recently completed her first feature documentary "The Karaoke Knights", which she wrote and produced. Lilian is in the process of finalizing numerous pitches for future documentaries, as that is her passion. JOSH BISSETT - Sound Mixer/ Sound Design/ Music Production
Josh graduated from the Recording Institute of Technology at Musician's Institute in 2004 with the Outstanding Student Award after moving to Los Angeles to persue his goal of becoming a sound engineer. Shortly after graduating he began his career as a production sound mixer working on various independent short and feature length films as well as several webisode series. Since then he has worked for over three years with Larry Levinson Productions which produces films for Spike TV, The Hallmark Channel, and Lifetime. In addition to his experience as a production sound mixer, Josh also did the sound design for an independent feature and is proficient in audio editting with Protools and Logic and amongst other things, he has been playing the guitar and the piano for over 13 years and is currently in the early stages of recording an album.
